In 1982 we went back to Brittany, with the holiday split between a return to Benodet and a visit to Telgruc (across the bay from Douarnenez).
The site at Telgruc was some distance from the beach, and was also situated on a steep hill – with the loos at the bottom of it, so nocturnal visits were a bit of an effort!
I think the only real “highlight” of the holiday was in St Malo on the way home – we had a wander around the old town and returned to the car, only to realise that a couple of the cases had been left on the roof-rack and were no longer there. I think the parents lost quite a lot of clothing, but fortunately my dad’s camera bag would never have been on the roof so it was safe!
