In 1977 The Parents went on a 3-city tour of Italy – my mother’s father split up from his partner and gave up the tickets to the holiday they had planned. A group of Australians they met somewhere referred to this type of tour as an “ABC Holiday” – Another Bloody Cathedral.
First up was Rome – a city I would love to visit as it seems to have so many things to see and photograph.
