Obviously fancying a change after three years at Le Mans, Bill and my dad ventured down to Monte Carlo for the Grand Prix in 1962. It looks like quite a trip as they went to the 1000km at the Nurburgring in Germany first (paying a quick visit to Spa on the way) and then went to see a friend in Geneva. After the Grand Prix, they visited Arles.
So we have quite a few photos from the Jardin Exotique and the streets of Monaco – I especially like the Formula Junior cars in amongst the ordinary cars. Then we have the Roman Amphitheatre at Arles and the Gorges du Tarn.
