There can’t be a lot of colour photos from the 1930s – these must be 1938 or so.
Cornwall in the 1930s
The photos of Mum, John, Katie and Bernard on the beach were taken at Praa Sands. They went there as Bernard thought it was safer for kids than Fowey. The photos of tin mines were taken at Rinsey. The farm photos were taken at Heathencote. The unknown lady with Mum, John and Katie is Miss Keward, she was a school friend of Katie’s and the reason they started going to Heathencote. THe unknown lady in black is Katie’s mother, photo taken at Heathenocte. The photo of Mum and the unknown child and John in the car are either taken in Russell Square or Gordon Square.
