A few pics from the Grand Union Canal in August 1971.
First up are some shots of proper famous people.
The film Running Scared was filmed around Braunston – it was written and directed by David Hemmings (of Blow Up fame) – the only film he wrote and the first one he directed. It starred his wife, Gayle Hunnicutt, and a young and fairly unknown Robert Powell – best known as Jesus, one of The Detectives or that bloke off Casualty, depending on how old you are.
